Adding services to your website

As we’ve already mentioned, making clear what you offer and what the outcomes are two of the most important pieces of your website. This is how the client knows what they’ll get out of working with you.

B12 and service pages

Like the first few steps of setting up your website with B12, creating service pages is easy and seamless. Here’s some key information about the process.

  • Each of your services will have a subpage.

  • You’ll want to fill in the information about each service, such as a title, and a short description. You can even add a photo or a CTA button.

  • You can add and take away pieces of the design, language, colors, and other elements. This will drive the lead to take action and buy your services or schedule a call.

Here’s an example of service pages from a website B12 built:

Go to your B12 site and add the services you outlined in your work.

Making scheduling hassle-free

  • Via their site, B12 gives you the option to allow visitors to schedule a phone or video call.

  • In the scheduling, you can add in your availability, as well as the option to securely connect with your calendar, so you don’t need to manually keep the schedule up to date.

  • You can get more specific on your availability, such as adding meeting length, allowing for buffers between meetings (in case one ever runs over or you like to get up and stretch), and more.

Here’s an example from another B12 website:

Have intake forms to capture leads

  • The intake form collects the visitor’s name, email, and an optional message, which creates a smooth process for potential clients to get in touch.

  • You can change the details to whatever you want. You can even change the metadata to make your form more discoverable on the web.

Here’s what that could look like:

Go to your B12 site and set up your scheduling and contact form. Don’t forget, you can update these at any point. So if you don’t know exactly when you want to take meetings or when you’ll be on vacation, that’s fine. You can make those changes later, once you have the details ironed out.

Recap

  • Added your service descriptions to B12.

  • Learned about some of B12’s other features and how they can benefit you.
