Update your experiences

At a minimum, you should show relevant professional experiences. We know that LinkedIn isn’t made for freelance resumes, where you have many different types of clients. But we have to work with what we got!

If you have professional experience that precedes your freelance work, include that. For your freelance work, do what you feel reflects your work the best. It’s important that whatever you do, you add work samples that demonstrate your skills and abilities. 

Highlight your major achievements and outcomes for each experience area to showcase the impact you've made in previous roles. Include any relevant projects, initiatives, or programs that you have been a part of that can help ‌demonstrate your strengths and skills.
